The Montague High School boys soccer team upset the Oakridge Eagles tonight by a score of 3-0. Kaleb Hams scored 2 goals and Anthony Borrego the third in shutting out the Eagles. Montague outshot Oakridge 31-19 and David Rumsey, freshman goalie, had 11 saves on the night. The Eagles came into the West Michigan Conference

The 7th grade girls basketball team defeated Shelby by the score of 22 – 3. The 8th grade girls basketball team lost a close game to the Lady Tigers by the score of 21 – 18. Both teams will next be in action on Monday, October 12 when they host Oakridge for the first
The NBC 7/8th grade football team remained undefeated with a 32 – 6 victory over Mason County Central. The win was highlighted by two goal line stands for the Montague defense. The teams next game will be on Wednesday, October 14 when they travel to Ravenna to battle the Bulldogs. Kick-off is at 4 p.m.
The NBC boys and girls cross country teams competed at the Kelder Poured Walls Cross County Invitational hosted by Mason County Central. Both teams once again showed great improvement with the majority of the runners breaking their personal records. Both teams will next be in action on Tuesday, October 13 when they travel to Shelby

The NBC 7/8th grade football team continued their winning ways with a 52 – 0 victory of the Shelby Tigers. The win was a total team effort. The team will next be in action on Wednesday, October 7 when they host Mason County Central. The game will begin at 4 p.m.
The NBC boys and girls cross country teams ran at the WMC Jamboree hosted by Whitehall. The boys team placed 3rd while the girls team placed 4th. Both teams continue to show great improvement. This was evident as 11 runners ran their personal best time today. Keep up the hard work !
